Project Scope and process
The exiting lights were old 1000 Watt, and 400 Watt Metal Halide. This system had become obsolete and expensive to maintain because of how often these lights breakdown. The illumination in the Parking lot area was not sufficient to cover all the areas and did not meet city mandated standards.
LED USA Solutions design and implemented a solution to change from the old HID illumination to new LED Parking Lights. Using our new Photometric modeling software we design the optimal lighting system for this shopping center Parking lot and back alleys. The change to our new Parking LED lights is literally night to day. Our new LED Parking lights achieved full illumination with a total energy saving of 74.26% and no maintenance cost. We also ended up saving the customer thousands of dollars in installation fees compared to other proposals that wanted to install additional poles.
